Melinda Tolliver

Melinda Tolliver is the strategist behind the many digital communications efforts at the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools. In her role as senior manager of digital strategy, she takes the lead on managing and curating content for the National Alliance's organic social media channels, advertising, email communications, blog content, and website.

Melinda has dedicated her career to nonprofit communications with a focus in digital since graduating from Miami University with a bachelor's degree in communications. She found her initial passion for nonprofit work in South Texas where she worked in community outreach and marketing for an organization dedicated to assisting children and families touched by autism. After moving to the nation's capital, Melinda worked for two advocacy and membership-based organizations to further their missions and building their capacities for digital communications strategies before joining the National Alliance. 

As a D.C. resident and new mom, Melinda is a fierce public education advocate and active community member. She has been published on the Education Post blog and is a former columnist for The Muse.
